And suddenly it’s all align
A pretty pose in endless time
That seeks to make my mind twist
And grabs my heart, hand at my wrist
Like something long and lanky lean
That like a doll, sewn at the seams
Paints a portrait of her scene
And shows me something of her dreams
She colours words in black and white
Then shines upon them in a light
Of swirling greens and blues in time
Reflecting off her eyes
I cannot see and cannot find
The words that she paints with her mind
A poet that seems to make me feel
That all the words are real…
